How does Electric Heating compare to traditional Gas Central Heating?

For some houses in the UK, particularly newer houses, gas central heating is not available, usually due to space constrictions or the new flue in voids legislation. So what is the alternative?

Electric Heating is our answer … obviously! An electrically heated home is powered from the mains supply and electric radiators, which are individually controllable, are used to heat each room while water is heated using a highly efficient space saving electric boiler.

Electric radiators and electric boilers come in many shapes and sizes so dependant on each individual circumstance we can recommend which appliance will best serve your requirement. From towel rail, to electric conservatory radiators, there is no limit to the uses of electric radiators throughout your home.

Aside from space issues, many people are opting for electric heating due to the safety benefits it brings. Electric radiators and boiler systems are extremely easy to operate and maintain, and there is zero risk of any sort of leaks or carbon monoxide poising that can become a problem in old, poorly looked after gas heating systems.

So if you think that electric heating may suit your home, or if you want to talk about any of our products in more detail, get in touch with The Electric Heating Company today and speak with one of our experienced team. Call us on 01698 820 533 or email info@electric-heatingcompany.co.uk
