Our Slim Jim Package

We are pleased to announce that our Slim Jim package has been very successful during the month of January.

If you weren’t aware, as of 1st January 2013 new government legislation dictates that all gas boiler systems with a hidden flue must have inspection hatches fitted to allow engineers to inspect the system and ensure it is safe. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the engineer turning off the boiler (with the consent of the owner or landlord) and advising them not to use it until inspection hatches have been fitted, where possible. If the gas boiler and flue is condemned this does not mean that the system needs to be condemned.

How can Electric Heating Company help?

For many flats, fitting inspection hatches is simply not an option as the flue systems are concealed and many lead into other flats. The Electric Heating Company can provide a solution to this problem – the Slim Jim Electric Flow Boiler. You can retain your existing heating system and install one of our state-of-the-art Electric Boilers which will give you the same controllability and flexibility as your gas boiler.

The following benefits ensure you will have no issues with your system going forward.

  • Slim Jim takes up very little space – Ideal for flats
  • There is no flue at all, or fuel tank required
  • Quiet and easy to install
  • No maintenance
  • No mandatory servicing

In addition to the above EHC will assist in the transition from Gas to Electric by providing:

  • Electricity Tariff Advice
  • Boiler Sizing Assistance
  • Power Supply Information
  • Next Day Delivery
  • 100% efficient

Quite simply, our Slim Jim Electric Flow Boiler is the only solution that you need when you are faced with concealed gas flue problems.
