One of the latest features to be introduced to our DSR Control System is Geolocation, which makes your electric radiator system smarter in order to automatically reduce your energy consumption. When the DSR Control System senses that you are away from your property, the DSR Electric Radiator system will automatically reduce the system temperature to a lower pre-set value, which will help to save you money. With this great energy saving feature you no longer require to remember to switch off your heating when you pop out to the shops as Geolocation will act on your behalf. When the system recognises that you have returned to your home, the temperature on your DSR Electric Radiators will automatically return to your pre-set comfort heating temperature.
This smart feature simply works by using geo-fence technology where the user defines a perimeter at a set range around their property, when the device carrying the DSR Control App enters or leaves the specified perimeter the Geo-fence feature is triggered. From within the DSR Control App the geo-fence zone can be set to a radius around your home from 150 metres to 1000 metres.
